# Festival Pop — palette recipe

## The idea
- Full-strength magenta and electric blue on a bright cream ground, held together by near-black ink: loud, confident and impossible to ignore.

## Use it for
- Event and festival pages
- Campaign and launch sites
- Youth and creative brands

## Avoid it when
- The subject is sensitive, medical or formal
- Pages hold long reading text or dense data

## Colours
- Bright Cream (background): #fffdf5
- Flash White (surface): #ffffff
- Night Violet (text): #1a1033
- Dusky Plum (muted): #4b3f66
- Hot Magenta (accent): #d1104f
- Electric Blue (accent-2): #0050e6
- Ink Outline (border): #1a1033

## Principles
- Use the two bright colours in big, flat blocks, never as thin text on cream.
- Put white text on magenta and blue fills, set large and heavy.
- Outline cards and buttons in thick ink lines to hold the colour in place.
- Give each bright colour its own job, for example magenta for actions and blue for navigation.
- Leave plenty of cream so the colour has room to shout.
